Software license
For information regarding the Windows license, refer to the COA label on the device. If the device is supplied with pre-
installed software, you must observe the corresponding license agreements.

Windows 10 / Windows Embedded Standard 7: Observe information regarding write filters
Windows 10 has one configurable write filter (Unified Write Filter) and Windows Embedded Standard 7 has two configurable
write filters (Enhanced Write Filter and File Based Write Filter). To avoid data loss, read the related information in the
operating instructions before activating and using these filters.
Flash memory cards
If you want to use a Flash memory card with the device, you must set it up on this device. Flash memory cards that were set
up on other devices will not boot as the drive parameters will be different.

Notes on protecting administrator accounts
A user with administrator privileges has extensive access and manipulation options in the system.
Therefore, ensure there are adequate safeguards for protecting the administrator accounts to prevent unauthorized changes.
To do this, use secure passwords and a standard user account for normal operation. Other measures, such as the use of
security policies, should be applied as needed.
