Please read the additional specification before starting work!
It contains important information and data which, when observed, ensure
full availability of the equipment and save service costs. This simplifies
handling of this control instrument considerably and provides accurate
measuring results.
You have purchased an instrument with the following configuration:
- SIPART PS2 with filter and connection module without basic
electronics, single or double action
- 19" -drawer with 5, 10 or 15 channels for SIPART PS2 PROFIBUS PA
basic electronics
- with maximum 3 QRL-Modules to connecting the field
This instrument is a version in which the electronics (in the 19" module
rack) and the valve control (in the PS2 housing) are operated in separate
locations.
Please note that this device is not designed for operation of the options
modules and the binary input.
Neither is it licensed for operation in hazardous areas.
This description particularly takes into account the deviations from
standard controllers, therefore please pay attention to the references to
the device manual A5E00127924(dt) or A5E00127926(engl.).
These references will be made below with M for manual and chapter no.,
e.g. M-chapter-0.1.
You will find the scope of delivery in chapter 8, page 80.
