Attaching the attachment tool (Fig. B)
1. Open drill chuck: Turn the keyless chuck
(2) ⭮ .
2. Push the attachment tool as far as pos-
sible into the drill chuck opening (1).
3. Clamp attachment tool: Turn the keyless
chuck (2) ⭯ .

CAUTION! Risk of burn injury! Attach-
ment tools – especially drills – can be-
come very hot. Wear protective gloves
whenever appropriate.
Remove the attachment tool.
Fitting the auxiliary handle
Procedure (Fig. C)
1. Screw the auxiliary handle (13) on the
right or left into the holder for the auxili-
ary handle (11) on the device head.
2. Tighten the auxiliary handle (13) hand-
tight.
Checking the battery charge level

1. Press the button (16) next to the charge
level indicator button (17) on the battery
(15).
The LEDs of the charge level indicator
show how much charge remains in the
battery.
2. Charge the battery (15) when only the red
LED on the charge level indicator (17) is
illuminated.

Notes
• If warm, allow the battery to cool before
charging.
• Do not expose the battery to direct sun-
light for long periods and do not place it
on a radiator (max. 50°C).

power outlet.
4. After charging, disconnect the battery
charger (14) from the mains.

Operation
Inserting and removing the
battery
WARNING! Risk of injury due to uninten-
tional start-up. Only insert the battery into
the device once the device is fully prepared
for use.
NOTICE! Risk of damage! An incorrect bat-
tery can damage the device and battery.
Inserting the battery
1. Push the battery (15) along the guide into
the battery holder (8).
You will hear the battery click into place.
Removing the battery
1. Press and hold the battery release (18) on
the battery (15).
2. Pull the battery out of the battery holder
(8).

1. Select the direction of rotation with the
rotation direction switch (6).
2. Select a gear with the gear selector
switch (4).
3. Use the torque adjustment ring (3) to se-
lect a maximum torque or drilling ( )/im-
pact drilling ( ).
4. Press and hold the On/off switch (10).
The LED work light (9) lights up.
