Any such reaction can lead to you losing
control over the saw and possibly injur-

chainsaw's built-in safety devices. As the
user of a chainsaw, you can take a num-

injury. A kickback is caused by incorrect
use or misuse of the power tool. It can

body and arms in a position in which
you can withstand kickback forces. If
suitable measures are taken, the opera-
tor can control the recoil forces. Never
let go of the chainsaw.
Avoid an abnormal posture. This will
prevent inadvertent contact with the tip
of the rail and allows a better control of
the chainsaw in unexpected situations.
