1. Pour 150 ml of water into the tank.
2. Press the keep warm button to set the mode. You can change the time period from 1 to 8
hours using the +/- increase or decrease buttons.
3. Once the setting is complete, press the start button to begin the keep warm mode. The
container will maintain its temperature throughout the entire period of time.
• If you want to activate the keep warm mode with delayed start, press the delay start button
and choose between 1 and 12 hours to delay the start. The delayed start icon will flash dur-
ing setup and during the countdown.
• Press the delay start button after the countdown time has elapsed and the keep warm
mode will be activated.
ATTENTION: Always take care of the freshness of the food when using this mode.
D E SCALIN G T HE WAT E R TANK
Limescale can accumulate at the bottom of the water tank during prolonged use of the appli-
ance. Therefore, the container should be cleaned regularly, once every 1-4 weeks.
Instructions for descaling the water tank:
1. Add 15 g of citric acid and 150 ml of water to the deposit and close the lid.
2. Place the jug in the appliance and cover it with the lid.
3. Press the descale button and select the cleaning process time from 1 to 30 minutes by
pressing the +/- buttons to increase or decrease the time.
4. Start the process by pressing the start button.
5. Once the process is complete, empty all the liquid from the water tank.
6. Rinse the jug and measuring cup with water several times.
7. Pour a small amount of water into the deposit and activate the steam mode for 20 minutes
to eliminate residual odors.
8. Store the water tank dry.
• Always clean the appliance after each use. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
• Never pour bleach or chemical sterilising solutions/tablets into the appliance.
• Never immerse the main unit in water. If necessary, use a dry cloth to clean the main unit.
• Always disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket and remove the jug from the main
body of the product.
• Rinse all parts under warm running water, dry them and replace all parts again.
• Clean all parts that come into contact with food in hot water with a neutral detergent after
each use.
• All parts except the main unit are dishwasher safe.
• Check the water tank and clean it if necessary.
• Check the steam outlet and clean it if necessary.
• Always keep the water tank dry after cleaning.
• Cleaning the lid: Remove the lid from the appliance and remove the
insulating cover that is screwed on the inside of the lid for more
efficient cleaning.
