• Please read this manual carefully before using the appliance. Please retain it for future
reference.
• Remove the appliance and its accessories from the box, remove all packaging materials,
stickers and labels.
CAUTION: The packaging material can be dangerous for children. Keep all packaging out of
reach of children, as there is a risk of suffocation.
• Before using the appliance for the first time, clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Rinse
the removable parts, jug, blades, steam basket and lids in soapy water, in the dishwasher or
under warm running water with a mild detergent.
• Be careful when handling the blades: They are very sharp!
FILL TH E WATE R TANK
1. Remove the decorative cover from the water tank by gently pulling it off.
2. Open the water tank screw cap by turning the cap clockwise.
3. Fill the tank with water, without exceeding the "MAX" mark located on the left side of the
appliance.
4. Close the threaded cap of the water tank by turning the cap counterclockwise.
5. Replace the decorative cap.

1. Insert the gasket into the blade shaft.
2. Hold the jar upside down and insert the blade shaft into the hole inside the jar.
3. Place the blade locking ring onto the blade shaft, holding the blade in position inside the jar.
4. Turn the blade locking ring a quarter turn counterclockwise to lock the blade in place.
IMPORTANT: Once the blade is installed, pull the locking ring to check that the blade is
screwed in correctly.
The blade must always be placed in the jar in all operating modes.
