Blade brake clutch
11.7.2.1 Engaging the blades
NOTICE
If the blades are not engaged as described in
this User Manual, they may be damaged.
► Do not engage the blades when driving in
tall grass.
► Do not engage the blades in the lowest cut‐
ting height.
► Only engage the blades at the maximum
engine speed.
NOTICE
When you engage the blades while driving, the
engine speed drops briefly.
► Start the engine,
► Set the throttle lever to the "MAX" position,

► Select the highest cutting height,
To mow in the forward direction:
► Select the forward direction of travel,

► Press the mowing deck switch for at least
1 second.
This engages the blades.
To mow in reverse:
► Select the reverse direction of travel,

► Press the safety switch for mowing in reverse.
► Press the mowing deck switch for at least
1 second.
This engages the blades.
11.7.2.2 Disengaging the mowing deck
► Select the highest cutting height,
► Press the mowing deck switch for at least
1 second.
After 5 seconds, the blades come to a standstill.
The engine continues to run.

► Park the ride-on mower on a level surface.
► Shut off the engine,
► Engage the parking brake,
► Remove the ignition key and store it securely.
► If the ride-on mower is wet: Allow the ride-on
mower to dry.
► Clean the ride-on mower,

12.1
Transporting the ride-on mower
► Place the ride-on mower on a level surface.
► Select the highest cutting height,
Transporting the ride-on mower with a means of
transport
► Secure the means of transport against tipping
over.
► Position the loading ramps, set according the
track width and the wheelbase of the ride-on
mower, against the means of transport so that
the ramps cannot shift.
► Carefully drive the ride-on mower over the
loading ramps or from the lifter onto the
means of transport.
► Select the lowest cutting height,
► Shut off the engine and allow it to cool down,

► Push the ride-on mower forward until the
bumper touches the end panel of the means of
transport.
► Engage the parking brake,
► Remove the ignition key and store it securely.
► Close the fuel cock.
► Use suitable fasteners to attach and secure
the ride-on mower to the means of transport.
► Position suitable wedges under the wheels of
the ride-on mower so that the ride-on mower
cannot move.
13 Storing
13.1
Storing the ride-on mower
► Place the ride-on mower on a level surface.
► Shut off the engine,
► Engage the parking brake,
► Remove the ignition key and store it securely.
► The ride-on mower should be stored so that
the following conditions are met:
– The ride-on mower is in a safe condition.
– The ride-on mower is out of the reach of
children.
– The ride-on mower is clean and dry.
– The ride-on mower cannot inadvertently be
set in motion.
– The fuel cock is closed.
