DESCALING DESCALING
This appliance has an integral heating element, which means limescale will not form.
•
You do not need to descale this appliance.
If you still wish to descale this appliance, follow these steps:
•
1. Unplug the appliance and wait for it to cool down.
2. Fill the kettle with a vinegar solution to the MAX level, and bring to the boil.
3. Leave the kettle with the vinegar solution to stand for a couple of hours.
4. Empty the kettle, fill with clean water to the MAX level, and bring to the boil. Empty the
kettle. Repeat this process twice.
Never use ammonia or other products to descale the appliance. These can be
•
injurious to your health. Only use a vinegar solution, or special descaling
agents.
