Cleaning

• Clean all external surfaces regularly and thoroughly with a damp cloth.
• Clean the spiral shaft and the drum carefully.
• Lubricate the spiral shaft with maintenance oil. This prevents corrosion of the spiral
shaft.
Shafts in good condition with sharp cutting edges jam less easily and are easier to
control.
Risk of injury. Keep the unused device out of the reach of children.The device
poses a danger in the hands of untrained operating personnel.
Fire hazard! When not in use, keep the battery away from other metal objects
such as paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws, or other small metal objects that
may cause a short circuit between terminals.
• Store the device in its packaging at temperatures of 5 -40 °C.
• Be sure to set the forward/reverse switch to the 0 position.
• Store the device in a dry place.
• Protect the device from strong vibrations and moisture.
Risk of unintentional start-up. Never hold or transport the device over distan-
ces at the on/off switch!. Set forward/reverse switch to 0-position. Remove
battery!
• Transport the device in the packaging provided.
