Switching forward and reverse direction of rotation

The forward/reverse switch controls the direction of rotation of the flexible spiral
shaft.
• Press L for forward rotation and R for reverse rotation (Fig. 4 and 5).
• Use the reverse rotation direction exclusively to release the spiral shaft from a blocked
condition (Fig. 4).
When the switch is in the middle, the on/off switch cannot be operated.
The spiral shaft can be clamped automatically.

Automatic clamping function

• Set the forward/reverse switch to position L.
• Press the on/off switch lightly.
• Move the handle forward to the F-position.
• The spiral shaft is led out at the front (Fig. 7).
