ASSEMBLY
NOTE
Refer to the illustrations at the end of this manual for visual guidance on assembly.
1. Place the motor unit on an even, stable and dry surface.
2. Release the locking mechanism. Hold the worm housing and insert it into the
motor unit's inlet. Then lock the locking mechanism.
3. Insert the worm into the worm housing, plastic end first, and turn it until it is
connected with the motor unit.
4. Place the desired attachments onto the worm:
For mincing meat, fish, soft vegetables, herbs: Place the crossed-blade knife
onto the worm shaft, with the cutting edges facing to the front. If it is not fitted
properly, the meat won't be minced. Then place the desired grinding disc (fine,
medium or coarse) before the crossed-blade knife, fitting the grinding disc's
notches onto the projections of the worm. Support the center of the grinding
disc with one finger, and tighten the fixing ring with the other hand. Do not over
tighten.
For shaping Kebbe: Place the Kebbe attachment (back) onto the worm shaft first,
then slide the Kebbe attachment (front) over it. Support the Kebbe attachments with
one hand, and tighten the fixing ring with the other hand. Do not over tighten.
For stuffing sausages: Place the crossed-blade knife onto the worm shaft, with
the cutting edges facing to the front. If it is not fitted properly, the meat won't
be processed properly. Then place the coarse grinding disc before the crossed-
blade knife, fitting the grinding disc's notches onto the projections of the worm.
Place the sausage attachment (big opening first) on the grinding disc. Hold the
sausage attachment with one hand, and tighten the fixing ring with the other
hand. Do not over tighten.
For shaping cookie dough: Place the crossed-blade knife onto the worm shaft,
with the cutting edges facing to the front. If it is not fitted properly, the dough
won't be processed properly. Then place the coarse grinding disc before the
crossed-blade knife, fitting the grinding disc's notches onto the projections of the
worm. Slide the desired cookie former through the cookie attachment and then
place the cookie attachment on the crossed-blade knife and grinding disc. Hold
the cookie attachment with one hand, and tighten the fixing ring with the other
hand. Do not over tighten.
