9.5.b. Clamping the wheel (Automatic Lock - AL versione)
to the self-centering spindle (fi g.17b)
- Fit the clamping device into the drop centre of the wheel (A - Fig. 17b).
NOTE: The locking pin must be inserted till the end of its possible stroke, avoi-
ding any contact between cone (2) and rim (1). An incorrect pin positioning could
cause breakages or machine malfunctions.
- Manually move the centering cone towards the rim by operating on the retainers 3
(B - Fig. 17b).
