reading and understanding the operator's
manual. The correct interpretation of the
symbols helps to operate the power tool
properly and safely.

1.4 Warnings in this document
Warnings warn about dangers that can occur
when handling the power tool. They come in
four danger levels that can be distinguished
by the signal word:
Signal word Meaning
DANGER Indicates a danger with high
risk, which can cause death
or severe injuries if it is not
avoided.
WARNING Indicates a danger with
medium risk, which can
cause severe injuries if it is
not avoided.
CAUTON Indicates a danger with low
risk, which can cause minor
or moderate injuries if it is not
avoided.
ATTENTION Indicates a danger that can
cause property damage.
1.5 Proper use
The TRUMPF tube cutters are hand-guided
power tools for the following applications:
Cutting of plastic tubes (exterior diameter
250-1200 mm / Ø 10"-46") of the following
tube materials:
– PE80
– PE100
– PE100 RC
– Polypropylene
– Pre-insulated PE tubes with HE foam fill-
ing (e.g., COOL-FIT)
The rechargeable battery packs are intended
for use in the appropriate TRUMPF and CAS
(Cordless Alliance System) rechargeable
power tools. Rechargeable battery packs
may only be charged with TRUMPF or CAS
(Cordless Alliance System) charging de-
vices. To select the correct charging device,
contact a dealer.
