8.14 Commissioning
Once installation has been completed, restore the power connection
to the device.
You should see a periodic flashing LED to indicate normal operation
of the pump.
Add water with a dispensing bottle to the condensate pan/tray,
which will drain into the posable hose. When sufficient water has
entered the pump reservoir, the pump will activate and drain the
water away.
If you have used the alarm relay in your installation, check it by
adding enough water to maintain a water level above the top of the
pump for at least five seconds. After five seconds' pumping, the
alarm relay will activate, which cuts the power to your indoor unit.
This does not cut the power to the pump itself. It will continue to run
until the water has been emptied from the reservoir, at which point
the alarm relay will switch restoring power to the indoor unit.
Final check :
LED blinks green
Applying water: LED changes to permanent green and
then red
Sensor is horizontally installed
Anti-siphon valve is installed
Vent tube is installed
Cable ties used for fixation of posable hose, pump,
discharge tube
