Warranty
Your proof of purchase serves as your warranty certificate.
9.1
Warranty application
Your rollator comes with a manufacturer's warranty. However, your supplier may also offer an additional warranty.
This manual exclusively covers the manufacturer's warranty provided by Excel Mobility.
The manufacturer's warranty is only granted to you as a consumer. It cannot be used for commercial purposes,
such as rental or institutional use. The warranty is limited to defective materials and hidden defects. Excel Mobility
guarantees the following warranty periods for your Excel 3-Motion rollator:
•
Warranty period: side and cross frames, rims, bearings, brakes, forks, and all components not specifically
mentioned below: 2 years.
•
No warranty on: upholstered components and other wear-and-tear parts, such as the seat, backrest, tyres,
paint, and coating.
9.2
Warranty conditions
The warranty period begins on the date of purchase of your rollator. To claim warranty on defects within the
warranty period, you must present the rollator for repair to your authorised dealer, along with your proof of
purchase.
Repairs and replacements are carried out by an authorised Excel Mobility dealer. If the rollator is used outside the
area covered by the authorised dealer responsible for the warranty, repairs can be performed by any other dealer
designated by the manufacturer.
If a part of the rollator covered by the warranty needs repair or replacement due to a manufacturing or material
defect, and the rollator is owned by the original purchaser, the relevant parts will be repaired or replaced free of
charge by the authorised dealer.
The warranty does not cover labour costs incurred during repair or replacement. Any replaced or repaired part is
subject to the same warranty conditions as the rollator itself. Wear-and-tear parts are generally not covered under
the warranty unless their wear is directly caused by a manufacturing defect.
Excel Mobility is not responsible for replacing or repairing the rollator if the following conditions are met:
•
The rollator and its components are not maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations or
original parts are not used.
•
The rollator or its components are damaged due to negligence, accident, or improper use.
•
The rollator or its components are modified from factory specifications, or repairs are conducted before notifying
the service agent.
•
The product does not have an original factory frame label (see Chapter 1).
