Safety instructions
The Excel 3-Motion rollator is an extremely safe and stable product if the guidelines outlined in this user manual are
followed. However, if the rollator is not used correctly, hazardous situations may arise. Van Os Medical B.V. is not
responsible for personal injury or property damage resulting from failure to comply with the recommendations and
warnings in this manual.
3.1
General safety instructions
Protect your investment by having your rollator checked regularly. If any part of your rollator is not functioning
correctly, it may lead to dangerous situations. It is essential to keep your rollator in good condition to ensure
safety. Periodic inspections, proper adjustments, and timely replacement of worn or damaged parts will contribute
positively to the product's lifespan. An authorised Excel dealer, using only genuine Excel replacement parts, will
ensure the longevity of your rollator with proper preventive maintenance.
3.2.
Warnings for safe use
To prevent damage to your property, the product itself, or injury to the user, please observe the following warnings.
Van Os Medical B.V. accepts no liability. By reading these warnings, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined
in this user manual. Any modifications to the rollator not described in this manual will void the warranty in full.

Always check upon delivery that all components of the rollator are present and undamaged. If any components
are missing or damaged, contact your dealer immediately.
•
Before using the rollator, always check that the brakes are functioning correctly. Squeeze both brake levers and
attempt to push the rollator forward. If the rear wheels no longer turn and slide instead of rolling, the brakes are
working properly.
•
Use the parking brakes whenever you stop or park the rollator.
•
Always use a lift to move the rollator to a higher or lower level.
•
When using the rollator in a lift, ensure the parking brake is engaged at all times.
•
Engage the parking brake before sitting down.
•
Ensure all wheels of the rollator are in contact with the ground during use. This ensures correct balance.
•
Adjust the height of the rollator to suit your body height to avoid incorrect posture (see figure 3b and section
5.5).
•
When unfolding the rollator, ensure that the frame's locking mechanism has clicked into place (see figure 3c).
•
Be mindful of clothing or body parts that could become trapped when folding or unfolding the rollator.
•
The storage bag can carry a maximum weight of 5 kg.
•
Any modifications to the rollator not described in this user manual will void the warranty in full.
