Components of the Excel rollator
This chapter describes the various components of the Excel rollator. Some of these components can be folded,
adjusted, or removed. If you wish to adjust, remove, or position any of the components, always follow the
instructions provided in this user manual.
5.1
Folding and unfolding the rollator
To fold and unfold the rollator, you need to follow a few steps. Be cautious during this process to avoid damaging
the rollator.
5.1.1
Folding the rollator
To fold the rollator, follow these steps:
•
Stand behind the rollator and remove the storage bag if necessary. See section 6.7 for instructions on removing
the storage bag.
•
Pull the strap attached to the seat upwards (photos 1 and 2). This will automatically fold the rollator.

At this point, the rollator is already more compact. However, the Excel 3-Motion can be folded even further than
most standard rollators; both the front and rear wheels can be folded up. To do this, follow these steps:
•
To fold up the rear wheel frame tubes, pull the grey locking mechanism located on both sides of the frame
towards the wheel. The frame tube will detach and can be folded upwards (photos 3, 4, and 5).
•
To fold up the front wheels, press the grey locking mechanism while holding the wheel or the fork with your
other hand and rotate upwards (photos 6 and 7).
•
Note: The front wheels do not lock into place when folded upwards. The rear wheels, however, will click into
place when folded sufficiently upwards.
