The swivel wheels and front fork
The swivel wheels at the front of the rollator, along with the front fork they are attached to, must move smoothly to
ensure proper steering. Check the swivel wheels and front fork for the following:
•
Ensure the nut is properly fastened. It should not be too loose or too tight. If it is too loose, the swivel
wheels may wobble or come off. If it is too tight, the rollator will be difficult to steer, as the bearings may be
compressed, preventing the balls from moving freely.
•
Inspect the fork housing of the swivel wheels for wear.
If any of the above issues occur, contact the dealer where you purchased the rollator. Only your dealer is authorised
to carry out repairs to the swivel wheels or front fork.
Tip
Check that the nut on the swivel wheel is properly fastened by spinning the wheel. It should come to a
gradual stop.

The upholstery
The upholstery is also an important component of your rollator. Torn or worn upholstery may no longer support
weight safely, creating hazardous situations. Regularly inspect the upholstery for holes, tears, or worn areas.
If the upholstery is damaged, contact the dealer where you purchased the rollator. Only your dealer is authorised to
carry out repairs to the upholstery.

Cleaning your rollator
Regular cleaning of your rollator is essential. Follow these steps to clean your rollator:
•
Clean the upholstery, frame, and plastic components with mild soap and water. Never use abrasive cleaning
agents, as they can damage the finish. Do not use high-pressure or steam cleaners.
•
Treat the frame's finish regularly with wax. However, never use dissolving or abrasive waxes, harmful chemicals,
or silicone spray.
•
Always dry the rollator thoroughly after cleaning. Ensure it is also dried if it becomes wet from rain.
