5.6 Process connection via ¼ NPT female thread – adapter (Figure 13)
The sensor is supplied with a pre-mounted adapter on the bottom of the device. The adapter has a G ¼"
male thread, which is mounted on the bottom of the sensor with a max. torque of 0.8 Nm, and which can be
screwed back in if it has been removed. The adapter has a connection with a ¼" NPT female thread on the
process side. Make sure that the maximum tightening torque of 0.8 Nm on the bottom of the sensor is not
exceeded when mounting the adapter on the process side. This can lead to the destruction of the device.
