INSTALLING THE VACUUM

CONNECT THE SUCTION HOSE
Install the
Vacuum
near the sharpener, preferably at floor level,
or under the table that the sharpener is installed on. This is
recommended for noise suppression. Connect the included
Suction Hose
directly from the
vacuum's inlet ports.

CONNECT THE POWER CORDS
Plug the PV100 Vacuum Power Cord into the Vacuum Power
Port (A). Plug the PS200 Sharpener Power Cord into the Tool
Power Port (B). Connect Auxiliary Power (C) to the Auxiliary
Port (D) and connect Switch Power (E) into a Power Outlet.

USING WITH TWO PS200 SHARPENERS
Plug the Power Cord Splitter (A) into the Tool Power Port (B).
Plug one PS200 Power Cord into each input of the Power Cord
Splitter (C).
Connect exactly as shown. Do not connect
anything other than the Sparx PS Sharpener or
Sparx Vacuum to the Automatic Switch.

AUTO MODE
Ensure that the Switch (A) is set to AUTO and the PV100 Vacuum is
set to ON.

OPERATION
The PV100 Vacuum will be off until a sharpening cycle is started.
The switch will turn on automatically when grinding begins. After the
sharpening is complete, the vacuum will stay on for an additional 5
to 15 seconds before automatically turning off.
If using two sharpeners with the automatic switch, behavior will be
the same as above, and the vacuum will operate when either or both
sharpeners are grinding.

CONTINUOUS OPERATION
To use the vacuum continuously, such as when cleaning out the
inside of the sharpeners, set the switch on the Automatic Switch
to the ON position. When finished, set it back to AUTO for normal
operation.
