Static mode
In contrast to dynamic mode, where weights are applied to both the inside and outside plane of
the rim, static balancing of a wheel requires only a single weight to be applied to one position on
the rim.
Static balancing is suitable for wheels with a small width, since the unbalance increases as the
width of the wheel increases.
Perform a measuring cycle in static mode
•
Add a counterweight on the middle of rim in 12 o'clock position
•
Check the result
•

ALU mode
Same operation for ALU-1, ALU-2, ALU-3, ALU-4, ALU-5. Only the position to add counterweights is
different
•
Input values a (rim distance), b (rim width) and d (rim diameter)
(see chapter "Dynamic mode")
Switch the machine on
•
• Press key
till the required ALU-mode indicator lights up
• Put down the hood. => measuring cycle starts.
• The unbalance values remain on the screen after finishing the measuring cycle.
• Press key
may check the real unbalance value under threshold
