of drilling. After reaching the desired drilling depth, reduce the pressure to allow the
removal of excavated material from the hole. The efficiency of excavated material
removal deteriorates with increasing drilling depth.
Vertical (ceiling) hammer drilling
The use of a rubber dust cover is required (no cover included). Drilling into the
ceiling without the rubber dust cover or when it is damaged may cause damage to
the machine. Do not carry out work with the working tool pointing upward if the dust
cover is not attached or is damaged.
Drilling with a vertical impact (in the floor)
If necessary, adjust the side handle to a convenient position for the drilling process.
The drilling process should be carried out similarly to horizontal drilling. However, it
should be borne in mind that in the vertical position the drill bit has the least
efficiency in discharging the excavated material, especially when drilling deep and
with large diameters. Therefore, it is recommended to purge or flush the hole as
often as possible. Undrained, accumulated spoil in the hole, deteriorates the quality
of the drilling process, increases the temperature of the drill bit and, as a
consequence, can lead to the fall of the drill plate or damage to the hammer head.
Shoeing (chiseling)
To start working with the chisel, mount (according to paragraph 7 of the manual)
the chisel, and then set the work function selection knob to shoeing. The device will
operate with the impact on and rotation off.
Changing the direction of rotation
Never change the direction of rotation during operation, this may damage the
unit's gearbox!
The switch for changing the direction of rotation (Fig. B item 4) is used to
immediately change the direction of rotation of the device head. To change the
direction of rotation, turn off the device (release the switch), set the direction change
switch to the desired position and start the device.
9. Ongoing maintenance
All maintenance activities, such as changing the working
tip, should be performed with the power supply
disconnected.
Before each startup:
Check that the motor vents are not obstructed or dirty. If necessary, uncover
(e.g. with compressed air) or clean with a cloth slightly dampened with water;
do not allow water to get inside the unit
After each use:
Disconnect from the power source to avoid accidental activation by bystanders
or when moving.
Keep the device out of the reach of children, if possible in the original packaging.
10. Spare parts and accessories
