Note:
With programme 04 a sound signal can be heard to indicate that the food must be turned over. After turning the food,
press the start/pause button to resume the programme.
(*) These programmes use preheating. During preheating, the cooking time is temporarily stopped and the display shows
the preheating symbol. When preheating has been completed, a sound signal can be heard and the preheating symbol
flashes in the display. You can place the dish in the appliance.
(**) These automatic programmes only use the microwave function.
USING THE DEFROSTING PROGRAMMES
See the section Defrosting programmes below for an overview of available defrosting programmes.
Note:
• Only use frozen food that has been stored at -18°C. Freeze food in portions that are as flat as possible
to speed up the defrosting process.
• Remove the packaging and weigh the frozen food. For the defrosting programme you must enter the weight.
• When defrosting meat or poultry, it is possible that liquid is released. Remove the liquid when turning the food.
Make sure the liquid does not come into contact with other food.
• Place the food on the glass baking tray or in a dish that is suitable for the microwave oven.
• Allow the defrosted food to rest for another 10 to 30 minutes, so that the same temperature is reached throughout
the dish. Large pieces of meat require more time.
1. Press the automatic programme button once. The display shows the first defrosting programme number (d01).
2. Press the up/down button or move the slider to select a defrosting programme. The display shows the selected
programme.
3. Press the weight button.
4. Press the up/down button or move the slider to select the weight.
5. Press the start/pause button to start the appliance.
When the programme has been completed, a sound signal can be heard and the appliance returns to standby.

After turning the food, press the start/pause button to resume the programme.
