6 Maintenance
Caution
All maintenance intervals are guide values. In individual cases, these may be shorter due to
changes in environmental conditions with regard to temperature, humidity, dust, etc.
Caution
For devices with a capacity of 6 l/min, the filter service life is reduced by up to 20 %.
Caution
Maintenance may only be carried out by an authorised service technician.
Caution
During maintenance, only monitored test equipment and measuring devices suitable for the
intended purpose may be used.
The device and the sensor must be checked and serviced annually by the supplier or manufacturer or by
authorised trained personnel.
For commercially used devices, a safety check must be carried out.
The following must be replaced during annual maintenance by the responsible service technician:
Fine filter, microfilter, patient bacteria filter.
The device must not be maintained or serviced during use on the patient!

Works on the opened device may only be carried out by an authorised service technician.
