Caution
The correct arrangement and positioning of the fixation (e.g.: nasal cannula in the nose or mask on
the mouth) is decisive for the amount of oxygen that is delivered to the patient's respiratory
system.
Note
The accessories, such as the nasal cannula and masks, are "single use" items. This means that
they are NOT suitable for repeated use by a single patient or multiple patients.
Note
The accessories, such as the nasal cannula and breathing masks, are only to be used for a
treatment in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
Note
The user should be able to hear or feel the flow of gas to the nasal cannula. The hand should be
moved back and forth in front of the nasal cannula. If the user does not feel the gas flowing, he
must check the connections of the nasal cannula for leaks. Dip the end of the nasal cannula into a
cup half-filled with water and check for bubbles.
Note
The clinical effect of oxygen > 30 days must be assessed by the attending physician. The possible
resulting biological and toxicological risks must be checked and evaluated in advance by the
attending physician.
Note
When using disposable bubble humidifiers, it must be ensured that they are never operated
unopened on the device. Subsequent opening creates negative pressure, which could lead to
water ingress and damage to the device. (Flow zero)
2.5 Warnings
Warning
The device may only be operated by the user under the operating conditions specified by the
manufacturer, see chapter 8 Technical data.
Warning
Compliance with all Instruction for Use and safety instructions from Chapter 2 is mandatory.
Warning
Smoking, open light and fire are prohibited during use.
Warning
The device must not be used if:
- the mains plug or cable is damaged
- functions run incorrectly
- the device has been dropped
- the device is damaged
- liquid has penetrated the device
In these cases, the device must be checked by an authorized service technician and repaired if
necessary.

The device must only be opened by an authorised service technician.
Warning
Multiple sockets or extension cables must not be used.
Warning
The device should not be placed near radiators, fan heaters, etc.
