Inserting and removing the
battery
 WARNING! Risk of injury due to un-
intentional start-up. Only insert the battery
(18) into the machine once it is fully pre-
pared for use.
 CAUTION! Risk of injury. Ensure that
the appliance is switched off.
Note
An incorrect battery can damage the ma-
chine and the battery.
Inserting the battery (Fig. A)
1. To insert the battery (18), push the bat-
tery (18) along the battery holder into
the appliance. You will hear it click into
place.
Removing the battery (Fig. A)
1. Press the battery release (17).
2. Pull the battery (18) out of the appli-
ance.
3. Let go of the battery release (17).
Charging the battery
 CAUTION! Risk of injury. Ensure that
the appliance is switched off.
Note
• The supplied charger (16) enables
charging directly via the appliance.
Procedure (Fig. A)
1. Insert the battery (see Inserting and
removing the battery, p. 33).
2. Connect the charger (16) to the char-
ging socket (10) of the appliance and
to a suitable power source.
3. During charging, please observe the
battery charge level indicator (20).
Please refer to Checking the battery
charge level, p. 31.
4. The appliance can also be charged in
the charging station (25) (see Using
the charging station, p. 36).
Operation
Working instructions
 CAUTION! Risk of injury. Do not op-
erate the appliance if damaged or incor-
rectly assembled! Replace damaged parts
and dirty filters (see Spare parts and ac-
cessories, p. 39).
• Also inspect the appliance for visual
damage.
• Ensure that the collection container (1)
filter holder (4) and filter (5) are dry
when changing directly from wet vacu-
uming to dry vacuuming!
• Only vacuum liquid up to the "Maxim-
um fill level" mark (2).
• Always hold the appliance vertically
during transport, otherwise liquid will
leak out! Hold the attached wet nozzle
(12) downwards.
Switching on and off
Note
Before switching on, check whether the
filter holder (4) and filter (5) are inserted
and dry (see Attaching and removing the
filter holder/filter, p. 32).
Switching on (Fig. A)
1. Press the on/off switch (9) to switch
on.
Switching off (Fig. A)
1. Press the on/off switch (9) to switch
off.
Using ECO / Turbo mode
The appliance can be operated in two
working levels:
ECO mode: The appliance operates at
the lowest speed for maximum battery life.
This operating time is approx. 35 Min.
Turbo mode: The appliance operates
at the maximum speed. If the resistance is
