When do I have to change the engine oil?
The oil has to be replaced after every 50 operating hours
and the engine has to be switched off and the device
should still be warm. To this end, start the engine for a
short while, if required.
• Place a suitable collecting container with a volume of
at least 1 litre under the oil drain plug (A).
• First open the oil drain plug (A) and then the oil filler
neck (B) and drain off the entire engine oil using a
suitable hose or pipe.
• Close the oil drain plug (A) again and fill 0.6 litres of
fresh engine oil into the oil filler neck (B).
• Afterwards, check the oil level using the oil dipstick
(B) and adjust the oil level, if required.
Recommended engine oil
SAE 10W-30 or SAE 10W-40 (depending on the opera-
ting/
ambient temperature).
Implementation
• Please read the safety instructions before implementation.
• All protection and additional facilities should be fitted.
• The saw is exclusively constructed to cross cut firewood with a maximum length of 1 meter.
• Independent of the wood diameter only one piece should be laid on the rocker.
• Hold the wood with the left hand and use the rocker with the right hand.

Exchange of saw blade

• The exchange of the saw blade can only be
undertaken in firewood cut position.
• Open side lid.
• Put the locking pen (1) through the bottom saw
blade
protection to lock the saw blade.
• Loosen the saw blade with the supplied open-end
wrench
/ female six fold wrench (2).
Tightening the drive belt
Loosen the 4 bolts (a) under the engine plate, loosen the lock
nut (c) and retighten the drive belts with the tensioning screw
(d). Tighten the lock nut again.
