4. ASSEMBLY

General notes
• Remove all packaging.
• Check for the presence of all parts and for transport damage before starting
assembly.
• The screws (16) and dowels (17) included in the delivery are only suitable for
mounting the safety brackets (15) to a stable concrete wall. If you want to mount
the safety brackets to a lightweight concrete wall or drywall, check specialist shops
for suitable installation material. Ensure the wall and the installation material can
withstand a weight of 110 kg.
• Refer to the safety information and drawing in the previous chapter.
Assembly
• Connect both curved handlebars (2) to
the crossbar (1). In order to do so, use
one screw (6), one washer (7) and one
cap nut (8) each per each handlebar.
Tighten the cap nuts with the hexagon
wrench (5).
• Insert the right straight handlebar (4) into the left straight handlebar (3) and tighten
both bars using two screws (13) and two washers (14).
• Connect the straight handlebar (3/4) to the curved
handlebars (6).
The curved handlebars each feature three screw holes. Use
the center screw hole first. The following subchapter will
provide information on when to use another screw hole.
Insert a spacer (10) each between the straight handlebar and
the curved handlebars. Install the spacers with the 28 mm
taper sitting underneath the curved handlebar and the 32 mm
taper sitting on the straight handlebar.
Use one screw (9), one washer (12) and one cap nut (11)
each per each curved handlebar. Tighten the cap nuts with the
hexagon wrench (5).
