Supplement to the instructions for use of care beds
Supplementary note for locking the SafeControl® handset
Resident mode is the basic commissioning or restart mode of the handset.
Danger!
When the handset is disconnected from the power supply (e.g., due to a power failure or
disconnection of the handset), it is reset to Resident mode.
As a result, the backrest, legrest and height adjustment functions become available
again. If a handset lock that was active before a power loss is still required, it must be
reactivated.
For beds with a battery supply, this only applies when the end of the battery life has been
reached.
