Model Operation Testing
Print Head Feeding Verification
Begin by inserting the filament through the filament detection sensor until it
reaches the bottom of the Print Head assembly.
Navigate to [Prepare] > [Extruder] > [Load] to automatically heat the nozzle to
200ºC.
Once the nozzle reaches 200ºC, select the feed option to extrude filament material
from the nozzle.
Prior to printing, ensure to clean any melted filament off the nozzle and heated
bed.
Note: Consumables with varying hardness demand different spring strength settings. The
extruder's spring strength can be adjusted using an Allen wrench. Turn the wrench
counterclockwise to increase spring strength. Turn the wrench clockwise to decrease
spring strength.
Printing Functional Test
Insert the USB Drive into the printer's USB port.
From the main menu, select [Print] and choose the desired file.
Once the nozzle and heated bed reach the required temperatures, the X, Y & Z axis
will return to Zero (Home) and commence printing.
Note: While printing the test model, carefully observe the first layer printing and compare
it against the reference figure on the right. In cases A and C, the compensation settings
are not correctly adjusted. Adjust compensation during printing to modify the distance
between the nozzle and the heated bed platform. In case B, where the nozzle and platform
are at the ideal printing distance, printing can proceed without further adjustments.
Caution: The nozzle is too close to the platform, leading to under extrusion. The extrusion
volume and the distance between the nozzle and the heated bed platform are proper with
uniform adhesion. The nozzle is too far from the platform, resulting in insufficient
adhesion. The model may fall off the heated bed platform during printing.
Adjustment of Nozzle Height While Printing
During fine-tuning, it is advised to switch the moving distance to 0.01mm or
0.1mm. This precautionary measure helps prevent the nozzle from excessively
extruding onto the platform or filament hanging in the air.
