CARE AND CLEANING
DO NOT USE COMMERCIAL
OVEN
CLEANERS,
ABRASIVE OR HARSH CLEANERS OR SCOURING
PADS
ON ANY
PART
OF YOUR
MICROWAVE
OVEN.
The outside of your oven can be easily cleaned with
mild soap and water. Make sure to rinse off the soap
and dry the exterior with a soft towel.
Touch Control Panel
Care should be taken in cleaning the control panel.
if it becomes soiled it may become difficult to make
entries. Open the door before cleaning to inactivate
the control panel keys. Using a cloth dampened with
water only, gently wipe the panel until it becomes
clean. Avoid the use of excess water. Do not use
any sort of chemical or abrasive cleaner. To do so
may cause severe damage to the panel and make
key entry impossible.
Oven Interior
1) Except for the rear, the interior walls of the oven
are stainless steel. For easy cleaning, wipe any
spatters
or spills with
a soft damp
cloth or
sponge after each use while the oven
is still
warm. For heavier spills, use mild soap and rinse
thoroughly with hot water.
2) The rear wall has a continuous cleaning finish.
The finish is specially formulated to gradually ox-
idize most soils during normal cooking. The sur-
face may be damaged by commercial cleaners,
abrasives
or
power
cleaners.
Some
manual
cleaning may be necessary if excess spattering
occurs. Using a paper towel or sponge to remove
excess spatter while the oven is still warm and
the spatter is still soft.
3) To make the cleaning effect of the continuous
cleaning finish more efficient, it is recommend-
ed that after the cooking of fatty meats that you
run the oven empty for 30 minutes in the con-
vection mode at 250°C.
4) After each use wipe the waveguide cover on the
ceiling of the oven with a soft damp cloth to re-
move any spatter.
5) Wipe any grease, spills or spatters on the seal
surfaces with a soft damp cloth or sponge so
that they are not allowed to build up after each
use while the oven is still warm and the spat-
ters is still soft.
Such a build-up could result in leakage of micro-
wave energy from the oven.
Turntable and Turntable Support
From time to time it may be necessary to remove
the turntable and turntable support for cleaning or
to clean the floor of the oven. Wash the turntable
and turntable support in mild soapy water. Dry with
a soft cloth. Both the turntable and the turntable
support are dishwasher safe.
Wipe the door and window on both sides frequent-
ly with
a damp
cloth
to remove
any
spills or
spatters.
Always keep the door seal and surfaces clean so
that any grease, spills or spatters are not allowed
to build up. Such a build-up could result in leakage
of microwave energy from the oven.
Skewer,
prongs and Ceramic skewer support
The skewer and prongs are of plated steel and the
skewer support is of ceramic. These parts can be
washed in mild soapy water or placed in the dish-
washer.
