Maintaining Your Scooter
• Maintenance of your scooter should include cleaning, checking the wheels and battery, and
charging the batteries.
• For detailed maintenance information, please contact your dealer.
• It is recommended that you have your scooter inspected every six months and schedule an annual
service through your dealer.
Cleaning Your Scooter
• Regularly clean your scooter, particularly the parts frequently touched by the user (such as the seat
cushion, armrest, and controller), using a clean and slightly damp cloth.
• Please refrain from using organic solvents for cleaning, as these might damage the surface.
• The scooter should be cleaned approximately once per week.
• If used by an infectious patient, it should be cleaned and disinfected with suitable disinfectants
after each use.
Tires
• Regularly check the tire air pressure and the condition for wear.
• Tires require replacement when the tread pattern depth is reduced to 2 mm.
Batteries
• Ensure that the batteries are fully charged.
• To prolong battery life, it is strongly recommended to not charge the unit until the batteries are
nearly depleted.
• Also, refer to battery & charger section of this manual for detailed battery maintenance and
charging instructions.
Scooter Malfunction Signals
• If malfunctions occur during the operation of the scooter, turn off the power before inspecting the
unit.
Symptom
• Complete loss of power, and all the LED lights on the battery panel are off.
Instructions:
• Step 1: Check if the headlight plugs are loose.
• Step 2: Check the connection between the processor (drive unit) plug and the battery box.
• Step 3: Check all the cable connections are connected properly.
