Remove the front plastic enclosure (S) [Fig.11] by
•
opening its locks with the standard key.
Remove rear door (2) and plastic panel (1) both
•
located on the right side of the machine.
Remove 4 fixing bolts (1) and remove the electrical
•
motor from the turbine body.
KOBRA Cyclone
Open the square shaped aluminium cover located on
•
the motor and disconnect wires from the electrical
motor.
IMPORTANT: BEFORE DISCONNECTING THE WIRES
•
FROM THE ELECTRICAL MOTOR TAKE A WRITTEN
NOTE OF THE WIRING CONNECTIONS (DELTA
Y) AND OF THE SEQUENCE OF THE THREE PHASES
R-S-T WIRES OF THE MOTOR.
Install new motor by following the same electrical
•
connection and follow all steps backward to re-
assemble the machine.
8.4
HOW TO REPLACE THE VACUUM
SYSTEM MOTOR (Tav. G, pag. 14)
This is a service operation which needs to be performed
by qualified service people in case of failure of the
vacuum system motor.
DISCONNECT the Cyclone from main power supply
•
by turning the main switch (U) [Tav.D-Fig.2] into "0"
position and disconnect the plug of the power cord
from main power supply.
Open rear back doors of the Cyclone.
•
Remove plastic waste bag from its position.
•
Remove trolley by releasing the two metal fixing
•
pins.
Remove metal cover by loosing the 4 fixing screws.
•
It is now possible to access to the electrical motor.
Disconnect two wires of the electrical motor from
•
connector.
Loose and remove the 4 screws fixing the motor to
•
the machine.
Remove the vacuum system motor from its position.
•
Replace vacuum system motor with the new motor
•
by using the same fixing plate.
The machine can now be re-assembled by following
•
the above steps backward.
Vacuum System motor has an operating lifetime of 700-
1000 hours.
