SELF ROUTING FEATURE ON DISPLAY
If paired to thermostats VMF-E19/E19I, T-TOUCH the VMF-RIC receiver
might be involved i the self-routing function. This function can be acti-
vated through specific commands sent through the supervision serial
connection of the thermostats. The routing procedure is displayed by
the VMF-RIC with the blue LED blinking, see Picture here:
In order to pair the serial address to the thermostat and close the rout-
ing procedure, commands for changing the operating mode must be
sent via the VMF-IR (pressing the MODE button). At the end of the rout-
ing procedure, the VMF-RIC starts displaying the paired serial address
as described in the following paragraph
SERIAL ADDRESS DISPLAYS
The VMF-RIC interface allows the thermostat it is connected to display
the Modbus address associated to the controller.
This display may occur in one of the following cases:
•
End of the thermostat routing procedure
•
Overriding the ModBus address display
For correct interpretation of the thermostat address, one must consider
the meaning of the different LED colours:
Green blinking → number in the hundreds
•
Red blinking → number in the tens
•
Blue blinking → number in the units
•
The address display sequence is as follows:
Example of display sequence for address 239:
