fasten everything by screwing with the large plastic nut.
3. Then join the metal rod to the vertical pipe. You can use the fastening nut (Fig. 1a, No.
3) to fasten the rod at the required height.
4. The heating head is fastened using the fastening material (Fig. 1a, No. 5).

Starting use
After removing the packaging, as well as correct assembly (standing or wall mounting), the
appliance can be put into operation. Proceed as follows for this:
1. Make sure that the thermostat rotary knob is turned back to the MIN position. Then
connect the patio heater to an earthed socket protected with an earth-leakage circuit
breaker.
2. Now switch on the appliance by turning the thermostat rotary knob (see Fig. 2b, No. 1)
as far as it will go. The heating element starts and heats up to the maximum heat output
of 2000 W.
The heat output is controlled infinitely: If you then wish to reduce the temperature, turn
the thermostat rotary knob anticlockwise until the required setting.
3. To switch off, turn the thermostat rotary knob back anticlockwise as far as the limit stop,
and then pull out the power plug.
Wait until the appliance has cooled down before covering it or putting it away.
3.4
Storage
Protect the patio heater from dust, dirt and insects. Cover the appliance with a sheet so that
it is protected from impurities and damage or malfunctions caused by this.
3.5
Repacking for private transport purposes
Always pack the appliance in its original packaging for transportation, if possible, to pre-
vent transport damage.
