Setup

Before you put the appliance into operation, observe the installation and safety notes
in these instructions for use, especially those in Chapter 2.3.

3.2.1 Wall mounting

P When mounting, make sure that the radiating element is attached to the wall
neither vertically nor diagonally, but is instead always fastened horizontally (see
Fig. 2)
P Note the position of the radiating element. The integrated thermostat should not
be affected by ambient influences such as sunshine or wind drafts, if possible
(see Fig. 3).
P Make sure that you can still come close to the thermostat rotary knob mounted
on the side.
P Pay attention to side spacing and to the distances to flammable materials (see
Fig. 4)
P Check to make sure there are no electrical lines or similar behind the walls.
