2. Grasp the blade with pliers near
the predetermined breaking point.
3. Break the blade in such a way that
the pliers are rotated around their
own axis and the breaking point is
pulled apart. This causes the bar
to break off sharply.
Replace blade
1. Push the slider (24.2) on the cutter
knife (24) forwards as far as it will
go.
2. Remove and dispose of the blunt
blade properly.
3. Push the slider (24.2) on the cut-
ter knife (24) backwards as far as it
will go to use a new blade.
Filling the magazine
1. Press the release (24.1) on the
cutter knife (24) to pull out the
magazine with the replacement
blades to the rear.
2. Insert the new blade into the
magazine. An opening is punched
in the rear end of the blade into
which the slider is hooked.
3. Push both back into the guide until
the magazine with the replacement
blades clicks into place.
Measuring tape (Fig. E)
1. Press and hold one of the locking
buttons (27.2) to temporarily fix the
pulled-out measuring tape (27).
2. Push the locking slider (27.1) for-
ward to permanently fix the pulled
out measuring tape.
3. Release the fixation by pulling
back the locking slider (27.1).
You can use the clip (27.3) on the
back to attach the measuring tape to
your belt.
Centre punch (Fig. F)
The centre punch (28) lets you give
a drill an initial guide at a fixed posi-

tion. This prevents the drill from run-
ning when you start to drill.
You can also use the centre punch to
mark work-pieces.
Tools required
• Hammer (not included)
Procedure
1. Place the centre punch with the tip
at the desired position.
2. Hit the back of the centre punch
with the hammer.

Inserting and removing the
battery

Inserting the battery (Fig. B)
1. Push the battery (10) along the
guide into the battery holder (7).
You will hear the battery click into
place.
Removing the battery (Fig. B)
1. Press and hold the battery release
(11) on the battery (10).
2. Pull the battery out of the battery
holder (7).

1. Select the direction of rotation with
the rotation direction switch (15).
2. Select a gear with the gear selec-
tion switch (4).
3. Select a maximum torque or
drilling with the torque adjustment
ring (3).
