4.7 Storage
When grass cutting is complete and the machine is
cleaned it should be stored in a safe place.
The following applies for storage of the machine:
• The charging cable must be connected between
the machine and 230 V. See 2.4.6.
• The temperature in the storage location should
be 5-15°C.
• The machine must always be stored on all four
wheels on a flat, horizontal floor.

5 MAINTENANCE

5.1 Service program
In order to keep the machine in good condition, as
regards reliability and operational safety as well as
from an environmental perspective, STIGA's Serv-
ice program should be followed.
Service must be carried out after 50 hours of oper-
ation or every 12 months, whichever comes first
and the extent of the service is as follows.
Service action
Lubrication
Checking blade wear
Checking blade synchronisation
Tyre pressure, check/adjust
General safety checks
Electric safety check
Updating to current software
Service should be carried out by an authorised
workshop, but can also be carried out by the user.
Service, carried out by authorised workshops,
guarantees a professional job with original re-
placement parts.
The service list should be stamped and signed at
every service carried out by an authorised work-
shop. See 7.
An Instructions for use with a completed service
list is a valuable document that improves the ma-
chine's second-hand value.
5.2 Preparations
All service and all maintenance must be carried out
on a stationary machine that is switched off. The
starter key must be removed from the start switch.
Prevent unintentional starting by re-
moving the key from the start switch.
ENGLISH
5.3 Tyre pressure
Adjust the air pressure in the tyres as follows:
Front: 1.0 bar (1.5 psi).
Rear: 1.0 bar (1.5 psi).
Too low tyre pressure leads to higher energy
consumption and shorter cutting time per bat-
tery charge.
5.4 Batteries
The batteries are the AGM type, which means that
the acid is bound in a porous mass. Water filling
cannot occur/is not necessary.
The batteries are maintenance free other than
charging.
5.5 Blades
5.5.1 Replacing blades
See section
5.6
before commencing work on the blades. See 5.5.3.
5.5
Check that the blades are always sharp. This pro-
duces the best cutting results. The blades should be
5.5.2
replaced once a year.
5.3
Always check the blade(s) after a collision. If the
4.1.1
blade system has been damaged, defective parts
4.1.2
should be replaced.
ing, both blades on the same blade bar must be re-
placed to avoid imbalance.
Attention!
Note the following when reassembling:
• The blades and blade bar must be installed as in
fig 12.
• The blades can be turned 1/3 of a turn in their
mountings. Select positions so that the blades
are offset 90° from each other. See "Synkroni-
sering, knivar" below,
Tightening torque:
Screws (12:P) - 45 Nm
Shear bolts (12:Q) - 9.8 Nm
In the event of a collision, the shear bolts (12:Q)
can break and the blades bend back. If this has hap-
pened, install genuine shear bolts and tighten as
above.
Never touch the battery poles. All work
on the batteries must be carried out by
authorised workshops. Risk of burn in-
jury and fire.
Use protective gloves when replacing
blade(s) to avoid cutting yourself.
Place the cutting deck in service position
Always use genuine spare parts. Non-
genuine spare parts can entail a risk of
injury, even if they fit the machine.
The blades are replaceable. When replac-
