Removing the cutting disc/
grinding disc/brush:
1.­ Press­the­spindle­stop­button­(5).
2.­ Turn­the­mounting­spindle­(22)­until­the­
spindle­lock­fixed­the­mounting­spind-
le. Keep and continue to hold down
the­spindle­lock­button­(5)
3.­ Loosen­the­quick-change­nut­(20).­The­
quick-change­nut­can­be­loosened­by­
folding­up­the­grip­(19)­and­turning­the­
nut open by hand or by loosening it
with­the­chuck­key­(13).
4.­ Release­the­spindle­lock­button­(5).­
Remove­the­quick-change­nut­(20),­the­
mounting­flange­(21)­and­the­cut-off/
grinding wheel/brush from the uptake
spindle­­(22).
Attaching the guard cover:
1.­ Place­the­guard­cover­(4)­on­the­tool­so­
that the open side faces the tool.
The­recesses­on­the­guard­cover­must­fit­
into the grid on the tool, only one posi-
tion is possible.
2.­ Press­the­lever­underneath­the­guard­
cover­(4)­towards­the­tool­and­turn­the­
guard­cover­anticlockwise­at­the­same­
time.
3.­ Turn­the­guard­cover­(4)­into­the­wor-
king­position.­The­closed­side­of­the­
guard­cover­must­always­face­the­ope-
rator.
4. Readjust the position of the guard co-
ver­if­you­find­during­use­that­it­does­
not­provide­optimum­protection.­
Removing the guard cover:
1.­ Turn­the­guard­cover­(4)­clockwise,­
past the resistance, until the open side
of­the­guard­cover­faces­the­tool.­
2.­ The­recesses­on­the­guard­cover­must­
match the grid on the tool, then you
can­remove­the­guard­cover­(4)­up-
wards.

Fitting the attachment
1. Fit the attachment (15) onto the guard
cover (4).
2. Push the attachment (15) onto the gu-
ard­cover (4) until it clicks into place.
Removing the attachment
1. Release the attachment (15) by pushing
the notch (23) away from the guard
cover (4).
2. Unscrew the attachment (15) from the
guard­cover (4).

Installing/changing disc

If­the­attachment­of­the­guard­cover­is­
fitted,­you­must­remove­it­before­changing­
the wheel, see chapter "Fitting the attach-
ment­to/removing­the­attachment­from­the­
guard­cover".

place the desired wheel on the moun-
ting­flange­(
