EQUIPMENT AND ACCESSORIES
•
Parallel guide
- 1 pc
•
Hexagonal wrench - 1 pc
GEARING UP
•
Clamp the workpiece. Make sure that the side that will
be seen later is facing down, as the cut is most accurate on this
side.
•
Turn on the machine before touching the workpiece. Do
not exert pressure on the cutting disc. Allow the machine
enough time to cut the workpiece.
•
Hold the device with both hands, using both handles.
This ensures optimal control of the device.
SETTING THE DEPTH OF CUT
•
Release the locking lever of the cutting depth regulator
(9);
•
Tilt the guide plate downward;
•
Set the depth of cut with the scale. The teeth of the saw
must extend about 2 mm beyond the wood;
•
Push the locking lever downward.
ADJUSTMENT OF THE GUIDE PLATE (CUTTING ANGLE)
•
Loosen the locking screw of the diagonal cut adjuster (8);
•
Adjust the guide plate to the desired angle from 0 to 45°;
•
Tighten the locking screw.
Never allow your hand or fingers to be behind the
operating saw. If recoil occurs, the saw may fall on the
hand, which may cause serious injury.
DUST REMOVAL
•
The circular saw is equipped with a dust discharge
nozzle (7) for the discharge of chips and dust generated during
cutting.
•
You can connect your workshop vacuum cleaner or
home vacuum cleaner to the dust outlet of your tool with a dust
hose kit. Before use, make sure that the metal mounting clamp
is flush with the end of the hose.
OPERATION / SETTINGS
ON/OFF
The mains voltage must correspond to the voltage
magnitude indicated on the saw's nameplate. When
starting the saw, hold it with both hands, as the torque of
the motor may cause the power tool to rotate
uncontrollably.
Keep in mind that when you turn off the saw, its moving
parts are still spinning for a while.
The saw is equipped with a switch lock button (10) to prevent
accidental starting. Switching on:
• Press the switch lock button (10)
• Press the switch button (1).
Shutdown:
• Release the pressure on the switch button (1). CUTTING
• When starting work, always hold the saw securely with both
hands using both handles.
• Only turn on the saw when it is away from the material to be
cut.
• Do not push the saw with excessive force, apply moderate,
continuous pressure on the saw.
• When the cutting is complete, allow the cutting disc to come to
a complete stop.
• If cutting is interrupted before the intended completion, when
undertaking continuation, first wait until the saw has reached
its maximum speed after starting and then carefully insert the
cutting disc into the cut in the material to be cut.
• When cutting across the fibers of the material (wood),
sometimes the fibers tend to rise upward and tear off (moving
the saw at low speed minimizes the occurrence of this
tendency).
• Ensure that the bottom guard in its movement reaches the
extreme position.
• Always make sure that the cutting depth lock lever and the saw
foot setting lock knob are properly tightened before cutting.
• Use only cutting discs with the correct outer diameter and
diameter of the cutting disc seating hole to work with the saw.
• The material being cut should be immobilized securely.
• The wider part of the saw foot should be placed on the part of
the material that is not cut off.
If the dimensions of the material are small, the material
should be immobilized with carpenter's clamps. If the foot
of the saw does not move on the workpiece, but is raised,
there is a danger of the phenomenon of kickback.
Adequate immobilization of the material to be cut and a
firm hold on the saw ensure full control of the power tool,
which avoids the danger of injury. Do not attempt to
support short pieces of material with your hand.
OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE
Unplug the power cord from the power outlet before
performing any installation, adjustment, repair, or
operation.
•
Ensure that the ventilation openings in the saw housing
are always unobstructed without dust deposits. All the
adjustment elements of the chainsaw should also always be
clean. If necessary, they should be cleaned with a brush. The
most effective cleaning is provided by the use of compressed
air. When using compressed air, always wear splash goggles
and a protective mask. Do not clean ventilation slots by
inserting sharp items such as screwdrivers or the like into them.
•
Do not use gasoline, solvent or detergents for cleaning,
which could damage the plastic parts of the chainsaw.
•
If excessive sparking occurs on the motor commutator,
take the power tool out of service and bring it to a service
workshop.
•
During normal operation, the cutting disc dulls after a
while. A sign of dulling of the cutting disc is the need to increase
pressure when moving the saw during cutting. If the cutting disc
is found to be damaged, it should be replaced immediately.
•
The cutting disc should always be sharp.
REPLACEMENT OF THE CUTTING DISC
NOTE: Unplug the circular saw before making any changes
to it!
•
Open the bottom guide and hold the saw.
•
Use the spindle lock to stop the movement of the disc;
•
Loosen the screw with a wrench;
•
Remove the outer flange and disc;
•
Clean the flange and insert a new disc.
