Installation

3.1

To install the product

Caution! To prevent the product to be damaged
due to lightning strikes, do not install the charging station
under a large tree. Do not attach the extension cord
around a large tree.
Note! The maximum permitted length for the perimeter
wire is 300 m.
Note! Do not let the product operate slopes steeper than
27% (15°). (Figure 2)

Select an applicable location for the charging
station. Make sure that the ground is flat and
horizontal.
Note! The charging station can be put next to a wall if the
distance to the wall is at least 35 cm. Make sure that it is
at least 1 m of straight perimeter wire without blockage in
front of and behind the charging station. (Figure 3)

Remove approximately 10 mm of insulation from
one end of the perimeter wire.

Connect the end of the perimeter wire into the red
terminal at the rear of the charging station.

Pull the perimeter wire through the opening in the
base plate of the charging station.
Caution! The perimeter wire must be put in the
mowing area 35 cm from the edge. The distance can be
decreased to 10 cm where the mowing area is crossed by
paths or driveways that are level with the ground.

Attach the perimeter wire to the ground with pegs
along the edge of the mowing area. Put the pegs
at a distance of approximately 80 cm. Make sure
that the perimeter wire is straight without folds.

Note! If the ground is not level it can be necessary to put
the pegs closer together.
Note! Corners must have an angel of at least 90°. The
perimeter wire must be completely straight to the corner
from both sides. (Figure 6)
Note! The product needs a free space of 80 cm for
correct operation. (Figure 7)

When the perimeter wire is put around the
mowing area all the way back to the charging
station, cut off the unwanted perimeter wire.
Remove approximately 10 mm of insulation from
off the end of perimeter wire.

Connect the perimeter wire to the black terminal
at the rear of the charging station.

Install the base plate of the charging station to the
ground with the nails.
Caution! Put the power cable outside the mowing
area if possible. If it is necessary to put the power cable
in the mowing area, bury it.

Install the power adapter on a wall, at least 30 cm
from the ground.

Connect the power cable to the charging station
and to the power adapter.

Connect the power adapter to a power outlet. The
status indicator will come on steady green. If not,
refer to "4.1 Status indicators guide" on page 12.

Enter the default PIN code "0000". The digit "0" will
flash on the display.

Push the "OK" button 4 times.

3.2 To make protected areas

Put the perimeter in a loop around the protected
area. Make sure that the product has a free space
of 80 cm around the protected area. (Figure 8)

Attach the perimeter wire that goes from the loop
to the ground together with the perimeter wire
that goes to the loop.

3.3 To do a function test

Turn the cutting height adjuster to 50 mm.

Put the product in the mowing area and start it.
Refer to "4.3 To operate the product" on page
12.

Monitor the product to make sure that it operates
correctly in the mowing area.
