13. DISPoSaL

a) Product

Electrical and electronic products do not belong in household waste. Dispose of the product according
to the applicable statutory provisions at the end of its service life. Remove any inserted batteries and
dispose of it separately from the product.
b) Batteries and rechargeable batteries
You as the end user are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries and rechargeable batteries.
Disposing of them in household waste is prohibited!
Batteries/rechargeable batteries containing harmful substances are marked with the following symbols,
which point out that they are not allowed to be disposed of in household waste. The descriptions for the
respective heavy metals are: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead.
You may return used batteries/rechargeable batteries free of charge at the official collection points of your com-
munity, in our stores, or wherever batteries/rechargeable batteries are sold!
You thus fulfil the legal requirements and make your contribution to protecting the environment!

Remedy
Check the status. Replace the battery.
