4. Move the search coil
When detecting, move the search coil at a constant speed, smoothly.
Keep the search coil parallel with and about ½" from the surface, do
not swing it like a pendulum high and low above the ground. (See
Fig.18)

Shaft height is wrong
It is very important to adjust the
shaft to your height correctly to
be able to serach without
discomfortable and fatihgue.
