1. Lift the canopy onto the mounting bracket and align the loosened screws on the mounting
bracket with the holes in the canopy.
2. Turn the finial to adjust it. Reinsert the screws and secure them with a screwdriver.
3. Once you have the mounting bracket secured to the junction box you can proceed to hang
the fan.
4. Grip the fan firmly with both hands. Pass the bar through the opening in the mounting
bracket and allow the ball to rest on the mounting bracket.
5. Rotate the ball coupling until it lines up with the tab on the mounting bracket.
Advice: Another person should help you hold the ladder and hand you the fan once you have
climbed the ladder.

Align the holes in the blade bracket with the holes in the blades and motor body and screw
them into place, but do not tighten the screws until they are all in place and screwed down.
Advice: To save time, you can place the washers on each screw before installing the blades.

• Attach the plate to the bottom of the fan by inserting the screw heads into the holes
provided.
• Then screw in the screws and then secure them so that they are securely fastened.
