To program the locomotive decoder you require a command station LZ100/LZV100 with a manual
control LH100 or the interface; a SET02 or a 'compact'. For instructions about programming, please
refer to the operating manuals of the respective devices.
Important advice on the programming or reading out of the decoder:
If the power consumption of the connected functions is very low, it may be that the
acknowledgement of the decoder is not recognised after the programming is completed. If this is
the case, you will receive an error message (e.g.: "Err 02" on the manual control LH100) from the
system. You can ignore this error message. Furthermore, if this is the case, the decoder cannot be
read out.
Ex-works the decoder is set as follows:
Locomotive address 3
Running-notch mode 28 running notches
Outputs A and B react direction-dependent to F0, not dimmed
Output C reacts to function 2
Output D reacts to function 3
Of course, these ex-works settings can be altered.
