Setting the PIN Code

The PIN code is used for resetting the tariff and is set in the factory to the value
"0 0 0 0".
If you ever want to change the preset PIN code, proceed as follows:
A. Please follow the instructions:
Press the MENU button once.
Turn the Jog dial until the "Gebührenkonto" message
appears in the display.
Confirm with YES.
Turn the Jog dial until the "Code eingeben:" message
appears in the display and confirm with YES.
Now enter the old PIN code (factory setting 0 0 0 0) and
confirm with YES. If the PIN code is incorrect, the display
shows "Abgelehnt".
Now enter the new four-digit code.
Confirm with the YES button.
Enter the new four-digit code once more as a check.
Press the YES button to save.
Press the NO button twice to exit programming
WARNING! Please make a note of the PIN code you have entered.
If you ever forget the code, this can be reset to the factory setting "0 0 0 0" by a trained
specialist. In this case, please contact our Service Hotline 0180 5 00 13 88.
