SOLUTION
Make sure the battery insulating film is removed.
If the battery runs out, please replace the battery.
Smoke must enter the smoke sensor through the
side openings to activate the device. Please be
aware that the top of the device features the
buzzer and decorative metal mesh.
Continuous smoke exposure is necessary for the
device to be triggered. When smoke reaches the
smoke sensor, the device will be activated
within about 20 seconds.
This product utilizes a photoelectric sensor,
designed to detect smoldering smoke more
efficiently than open flames. We recommend
using a paper roll, igniting it, extinguishing the
flame, and then conducting the test with the
resultant smoke.
Please ensure the battery insulating film is
removed and the device is turned on. If the
battery runs out, replace the battery immediately.
Make sure you push the test/silence button
firmly.
Install the device far away from kitchen
appliances, dusty places, shower areas, and
locations where the temperature is over 100°F
(37.8°C) or below 40°F (4.4°C). Check the location
of your alarm (see "Installation Locations").
