• Do not heat the cookware without any contents
and make sure that it does not boil empty!
The bottom of the cookware may be deformed
and the hob surface may be damaged by the heat
transfer!
• Do not use the appliance as a storage, shelving
or work surface! Do not place heavy objects on it
and be careful not to drop anything on it!
• Soiling and food residues can damage the hob and
its components over time! Always keep it clean!
In particular, always remove sugary stains as soon
as possible to prevent them from sticking!
• Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents
to clean the hob, as this may damage the surface,
especially in the area of the control panel!
Follow the instructions for cleaning and mainte-
nance in the relevant chapter!
• Keep magnetisable objects (e.g. credit cards, memo-
ry cards) or electronic devices (e.g. computers, MP3
players) away from the hob as they could be affected
by the electromagnetic field of the appliance!
