4.5 The booster function
With the booster function (quick heating function),
the power of a cooking zone is maximised
for max. 5 minutes.
To do this, proceed as follows:
Activating the booster function
• Touch the cooking zone selection key of the cooking zone
for which you want to activate the booster.
• While the corresponding cooking zone display is flashing,
touch the booster key
• The power of the cooking zone is maximised;
the corresponding cooking zone display shows
• After 5 minutes, the booster stops automatically
and the cooking zone switches back power level 9.
Cancelling the booster function
• Touch the cooking zone selection key of the cooking zone
for which you want to deactivate the booster.
• To stop the booster and switch back
to the previously set power level (or to level 5
if the booster function was activated at level 0),
touch the booster key
display is flashing (1).
To stop the booster and set any power level,
use the slider (2).
• Switching off the cooking zone also stops the booster.
