4.6 Using the Timer
The timer can be used with the following functions:
• Minute minder with alarm signal
• Automatic timer with switch-off function
Timer setting as a minute minder
To set the timer so that only a beep signal sounds
after a set time, proceed as follows:
• Make sure that the hob is switched on.
• Touch the timer key
(without having selected a cooking zone).
The timer display shows
• As long as the tens digit is flashing,
adjust it as required using the slider.
• After 3 seconds without any further input, the tens
setting is automatically confirmed and the ones digit
starts to flash.
Also adjust it with the slider as required.
• After another 3 seconds without further input, the display
stops flashing and the set time is automatically confirmed.
The countdown starts and the timer display shows
the remaining time until the alarm.
• After the set time has elapsed, a beep sounds.
This does not affect the operation of the cooking zones.
• To stop the alarm, touch the timer key
until the timer display shows
